Each year ACA Health supports final year education students at Avondale College in a Health Resource Project.  Students develop a resources to educate primary aged children on topics around health (i.e. Cyber Bulling & Diabetes) and the physical and emotional impact it has on health.

Students present their resources in line with course requirements and are judged based on the following criteria:

  • The ease of replication and distribution
  • Originality and creativity of the content (ideas and activities)
  • Quality and execution of presentation
  • Research and application

ACA Health make up part of the judging panel alongside a representative from Avondale College. The individuals or groups who have been deemed to have best met the assessment criteria are awarded prizes.

The winning entries for this project are awarded cash prizes by ACA Health.  Winning resources a distributed to all Adventist Primary Schools in Australia to educate children on the value of good health.  Copies of the winning resources are also available to ACA Health Benefits Fund members and their families through our website.
